A year of uncertainty

The harassing calls went on and on until I realized it's almost a year. They just won't stop. I was into hiding, my wife would say I'm forever not at home, I changed numbers (mobile, land line) and moved to another company. Still, the thought of having that much debt, and not being able to pay for it, is like a never ending nightmare. You scream, but no one hears.

Harassment didn't come from the card companies alone, my in-laws were as mad as hell at me. The cards ruined your life, that what they said.

Until, they (the collecting agencies) paid us a visit.

I had to move my family out of my in-laws'. My life was in shambles.
