I realized, like I was totally stupid, that about 80% of my take home pay goes to paying these credit cards. We're not getting rid of the debts and we're not able to save anything for us. I was afraid of falling behind with the bills, but I was shaky with the realization that's we're going to the drain because of these plastic cards that I initially thought will help strengthen my buying power. I was in debt deep, at least that's how it felt. I thought I couldn't get out of it. That I'd forever be working just to pay these cards.

And then I stopped paying, period.
